Eye care as per Ayurveda

Sitting in front of screen for long hours leads to an increase in eye complaints like eye strain, dry eye, headaches, and insomnia.

Eyes are one of the most wonderful parts of our body. Our eyes are by far the most important sensory organs we possess and eyesight is the

best gift we have received. They not only express the emotions but also reflect our health status.

According to Ayurveda the eyes are a seat of Pitta dosha (the fire element), and most eye problems result from pitta imbalance. The sub dosha, Alochaka pitta helps in vision, the main function of eye.

Ayurveda adopts a holistic approach in treating eye defects. By the use of powerful herbs that are present in the nature, Ayurveda helps to strengthen the eye muscles, reduce eye strain and improve eyesight.
